Lukas grew up in Jersey teaching swim lessons. During that time he fell in love with biomechanics and teaching people how to move fluidly, in fluid. When he moved to North Carolina he began teaching pool aerobics as a way to further that aim. Later on he began training Muay Thai, learning more about the connection between mind and body as a means to express himself. Eventually hard training led to back and neck injuries that were devastating. That's when a Massage Therapist changed his life. After his first session he felt completely new. The next day he decided he wanted to be a Massage Therapist to help people reclaim agency over their bodies. His goal is to provide the best treatment possible to people so they can do the things they love in life, pain free.
Shine On Show Up!
What is a Shine On Show Up you ask?? A Shine On Show Up is where Shine On literally shows up to a school, fire station or hospital and gives complementary massages to the staff! Today was our very first Show Up and we could not be happier. Seeing the look on the teachers faces when they got off the massage chairs made it all worth it. If you know a teacher or a nurse or a fire fighter then please go give them a big hug and thank them for everything they do.
The way we see it is, these are all of the people who we count on to mold our youth and protect us and keep us alive and safe so why not help them by relieving their stress and tension?! Starr Porter LMBT, thrives on helping people relax, feel better, and to create balance within
their bodies and lives. Using a holistic approach, she has been assisting clients reach their
health and healing goals since 2016. Starr is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher
specializing in alignment based Hatha yoga as well as Pranic and Chakra energy techniques.

conditions, injuries, or traumas, Starr incorporates various modalities customized for each
client’s specific needs. She is experienced in Therapeutic, Myofascial Release, Swedish,
